[FR] « Une fois encore, les vents violents s’acharnent sur Madagascar »: le cyclone Jade a touché le Nord-Est de l’île de Madagascar tôt ce matin [lundi 6 avril 2009] au niveau de la presqu’île de Masoala, au sud de la ville d’Antalaha avec des vents moyens de plus de 100 kmh accompagnés de rafales pouvant atteindre 160 kmh donc classé dans la catégorie des forte tempête tropicale.

En temps normale, les moyens à disposition des différents services de secours nationaux malgaches sont déjà très limités, or avec les troubles politiques qui immobilisent l’appareil de l’état depuis plusieurs semaines on peut craindre le pire.

Selon les prévisions des spécialistes, la trajectoire de Jade va longer une partie Est de l’île. Or, nous rappelons qu’avec une altitude moyenne de quelques mètres, une grande partie des habitants des côtes de Madagascar ont leur maison en zone inondable. Le devenir de la population malgache est très préoccupant. Et l’on se demande si une grave crise humanitaire à Madagascar peut-être encore évitée ?
